Question Structure

SmartWinnr supports multiple question types; however, all questions follow a standardized structure. The general structure of a question is outlined below:

1. Question Type

Select a question type that best matches your requirement. SmartWinnr supports multiple question types that you can choose from:

1. Multiple Choice

In this type of question, the participants are asked to select correct answers from the list of options offered to them. There can be different types of multiple-choice questions:

  • Question with the single correct option
  • Question with multiple correct options
  • True and False Question
  • Yes or No question

2. Fill in the blanks

A Fill in the Blank question consists of a phrase, sentence, or paragraph with a blank space where a participant provides the missing word or words.

3. Matching

With Matching questions, participants pair items in one column to items in another column. You can have additional items in the 2nd column that don't match any item. This increases the difficulty as participants cannot guess the correct answers through the process of elimination.

4. Hotspot

A Hotspot question presents an image to the participant and asks to select a particular area as the correct answer. For example, locate the heart in the human anatomy.

5. Re-Order Question

Re-order questions where you must drag and drop the answer to a question in the correct order. You can move multiple answers to their desired order and submit them.
