How to create 'Numeric Type Questions'
SmartWinnr offers a wide range of question types that you can choose from for your quiz.
In Numeric Type question, you provide a numeric value as the answer and define an error margin if the user provide an answer within the error margin he will get point according to the define grade for that option.
Below are the steps to follow in order to create a Numeric Type Question:
- Go to EDITOR > LEARNING AND KNOWLEDGE > Questions and Quizzes > Question Bank.
- Click on the 'Add New Question' button at the top right corner.
- On the 'Create new Question' select the 'Question Type' as ‘Numeric’.
- Enter your question in the ‘Question’ field.
- Enter the numeric answer in the "Answer" field. Then you can provide the error margin. for ex. If you provide 1 as error margin and the correct answer is 50, then if the user enters 49 or 51 he will get the percentage of points as defined in the Grade.
- Define grade next to it. For ex. if you want to gve 100% of the points to the correct option or 50% for the partial correct option you can define in the "Grade" field.
Question Feedback
Use ‘Correct Feedback’ and 'Incorrect Feedback' if you want to add additional information to a question. (Optional)
The feedback is visible only after the participant has completed answering the questions in a quiz. You can add text, videos, or images to feedback.
Select Categories
In SmartWinnr, every question requires at least one category. Categories are pre-defined by your administrator. You can select one or more categories that best defines a question.
Once you have filled in the required details of the question, click on the 'Save New Question' button in order to save the question.
