How to edit a SmartPath.
You can edit an existing SmartPath at any time to update its details or modify its content. The fields that can be edited include the SmartPath’s title, description, language, cover image, modules, and assignment settings.
Please note that once batch users have started the SmartPath, the system will not allow removal of existing modules from the SmartPath.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to EDITOR > LEARNING AND KNOWLEDGE > SmartPaths > View All SmartPaths.
- From the list of SmartPaths, locate the one you want to update.
- On the particular SmartPath card, click on the 'Edit' button at the bottom right corner. Alternatively, you can click and open a particular SmartPath and then click on the 'Edit SmartPath' button at the top right corner of the screen.

- This opens the SmartPath in edit mode.

Update Modules in the SmartPath
To modify the learning path structure:
Select Add Modules or the module section within the SmartPath.
Use the available options to:
- Add Modules – include additional modules to the path
- Remove Modules – delete modules that are no longer required
- Reorder Modules – change the sequence of modules for better flow
- Save your changes when done.
Reconfigure Module Access Rules
If your SmartPath modules have access conditions (such as score thresholds or completion prerequisites), you can update these rules while editing the modules. Adjust the conditions as needed to ensure the progression logic matches your learning strategy.
If a batch already exists for the SmartPath, you must select the batch while updating the module rules for those rules to be applied to the existing batch.
